SUSHI YOU HAWAII began as a neighborhood favorite, and today it's carried on by a new chef-owner with years of experience in both Japan and the U.S. Now behind the counter himself, he brings his passion for sushi to life every day.

This hidden gem is located on S Beretania Street right next to Times Supermarket. Our omakase-style dining offers a traditional yet approachable sushi bar experience-crafted with fresh ingredients, careful technique, and a touch of aloha. Whether you're a local or visiting Honolulu, we'd love to welcome you for a relaxed, memorable meal that feels both special and authentic.

Our Omakase Course is a fun and satisfying 11-12 dish experience that starts with a salad and a few tasty appetizers, followed by fresh sashimi, grilled fish, chawanmushi (steamed egg custard), and nigiri sushi. It's one of our most popular options-our guests often say they're full and happy by the end, and can't believe how great the value is!

We're also BYOB, so if you like to enjoy a drink with your meal, you can save on drink costs and treat yourself to more great food instead. Even better, Times Supermarket and Beer Lab Hawaii are right next door, so grabbing drinks before dinner is super easy. You can also park for free in the Times Supermarket parking lot-it's super convenient! Since it's an omakase course, the dishes may change depending on the season and what's fresh that day
